On October 1, 2014, the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force established a new requirement that community based child care providers serving Navy and Air Force children will be required to have an Advanced FBI Fingerprint Check and State Child Abuse and Neglect Registry Checks.Learn More
On October 1, 2019, The Military Services will expand the MCCYN program to include MCCYN-PLUS. The MCCYN-PLUS pilot will include community child care centers that are quality rated by their state Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), in locations where nationally accredited care is unavailable.Learn More
