CCAoA’s Media Center will house critical research, issue-specific information, and spokesperson biographies
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Child Care Aware® of America (CCAoA) unveiled its Media Center, an online clearinghouse featuring policy reports and research as well as brand guidelines and issue overviews. The Media Center will allow users to quickly and easily access the most up-to-date information relevant to child care at the state and federal level.
For 30 years, CCAoA has been the leading voice for quality, affordable child care in the United States. While CCAoA continues to pursue our vision of the future in which every family in the United States has access to a high quality and affordable child care system, the sharing of accurate and updated information remains critical.
“Child Care Aware® of America fundamentally believes that when we support a child care system that supports children’s growth, development and educational advancements our communities and our families come out ahead,” said Lynette Fraga, executive director of Child Care Aware® of America. “CCAoA has 30 years of experience fighting for a child care system that serves all children and families and our work is strengthened by our national network of child care resource and referral agencies as well as our diverse members and partners. With so many crucial partners in this movement, our Media Center will serve a central role in keeping the public informed and engaged in the fight ahead.”
In addition to press kits, evidence-based research, fast facts, state fact sheets, our annual Cost of Care Report and at-a-glance issues, site visitors will be able to become familiar with CCAoA spokespeople and leadership as well as access brand guidelines and logos.
More than 11 million children under the age of five are in some form of child care in the United States. As the nation’s leading voice for child care, CCAoA is comprised of 125,000 online advocates from across the country and more than 32,000 members.
