Army Fee Assistance Transition

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

The Army Fee Assistance Program transition phases have been adjusted. Instead of the original seven phases, the transition from the General Services Administration (GSA) to Child Care Aware® of America (CCAoA) will now include only five phases. For more information, please view the most recent webinar.

Families receiving care in Phase 6 and Phase 7 states will be added to Phase 5. Please find below the full list of states included in Phase 5.

Army Fee Assistance Transition 

The Army Fee Assistance Program is currently transitioning from the General Services Administration to Child Care Aware® of America. The transition will occur in seven phases, divided by state, and each family will be transferred according to the state in which they receive care.

Please see the information above as a reminder that Phases 5-7 have been combined. At this time, families in Phases 5-7 are being transferred to Child Care Aware® of America. This includes families receiving care in:

Phase 5-7 States

Families that have NOT been notified that their information is being transferred, even if they are in Phases 5-7, should continue to contact the GSA with any questions or problems. Your application and support will continue to be serviced by the GSA until you receive notification that your file is being transferred.

Families that have been notified that their information is being transferred should work with both the GSA and Child Care Aware® of America until their file is fully transferred. Child Care Aware® of America may contact you to complete your file if information or documents are missing.

Once your phase is complete and your file is fully transferred, Child Care Aware® of America will notify you via email and you may contact Child Care Aware® of America with any questions or problems.

If you are a new family who has NEVER submitted an application to or applied for fee assistance with the GSA, you may contact Child Care Aware® of America to apply for fee assistance.
